A Star in the Ocean

La mia primissima incastonatura l'ho realizzata per un concorso, a qualcuno è molto piaciuta e me ne ha chiesto una in tonalità personalizzate. Come sempre, dato che non sono mai soddisfatta, la prima prova giace qui vicino a me in attesa di essere disfata mentre la seconda.. Potete ammirarla voi stessi in queste foto! Domattina partirà per Salerno!

When I setted a cabochon for the first time i made it for a contest, someone saw it and ask me for a new one in other shades. I'm never satisfied so my fisrt try stands here, i'm going to take down it. Tomorrow I'll sent the second one to Salerno (South Italy).. Take a look on this picture!

Qui a Milano sembra tornato l'autunno, ha piovuto per 8 ore non-stop, così mi sono fatta una bella tazza di thè caldo (Earl Gray direttamente importato da Fortnum & Mason - Londra) e mi sono infilata le calze, poi siccome era tempo di We Find For You, mi sono lasciata ispirare..

Autumn is coming here in Milan! It was rainin for 8 hours so i made a cup of tea (Earl Gray, from Fortnum & Mason - London!), put on my socks and i took inspiration for this Find for You!

Play The Game!

Oggi ho scoperto per assoluto caso un blog a cui è collegato un bellissimo Shop Etsy, il paradiso per le perlinatrici amanti di tessitura! Sto parlando niente popo' di meno che di Fairy Dreams Jewellery di Viki Hungary! Vende meravigliosi schemi per peyote e bellissimi gioielli con cristalli Swarovski, assolutamente imperdibili!
Voglio parlarvi di lei perchè sul suo blog ha aperto un gioco a premi: basta scegliere un pattern dal suo shop ed iscriversi con un semplice commento sotto il post. Chi è già in possesso di un suo schema ricevuto gratuitamente, passa al secondo round: mandarle una foto della realizzazione dello schema! Divertente e stimolante, non credete?
Nell'immagine sotto vedete la mia scelta, ero indecisa tra questo e il penultimo..

I just discovered (by fortune) a beautiful Blog and its related Etsy Shop, it's the beaders' paradaise! If you don't believe me, watch out Fairy Dreams Jewellery by Viki Hungary! She sells gorgeous peyote stitch patterns and stunning swarovski's jewellry! Don't miss them!
I'm talking about Viki because on her blog she started a beautiful game: choose one of her pattern, recive it for free to start the game and in a second round you have to bead up the pattern and send her a pic with your creation! Is it lovely, isn't it?
It was a very difficult choice, but in the end I decide for this one with flowers (i also really like the tree one)! And you? What's your choice?

My first front page

Oggi è il mio giorno fortunato! Spero continui così anche per tutto il pomeriggio.. Per la prima volta una mia treasury è finita in front page! Sono davvero contenta anche perchè era la treasury che avevo fatto per festeggiare cinque membri dell'EIT! Quindi.. Buon compleanno a SumikoShop, RelyDesign, Contemori, Bijouxdellostregatto e Valeasc!

New Style for your Jewelry

Oh, chi si rivede! Come state?

Detto questo voglio mostrarvi la mia ultima fatica, un restyle che ho fatto per mia madre.. E' già il secondo! Cosa intendo per restyle? Semplice, mi da un suo gioiello vecchio, io lo disfo e lo reinterpreto! Questa volta mi ha dato una collana, gliel'ho accorciata, assottigliata, le ho messo una chiusura e con parte dell'avanzo ho aggiunto un paio di orecchini coordinati. Deve ancora passare il suo test, ma credo che le piacerà! A voi? Piace?
Lo ammetto, c'è voluta tanta pazienza per rifarla tutta!

Now.. I want to introduce you my latest parure! I call it a restyle because at the biginning my mum gave me one of her old necklace: she didn't like it! I took down everything, replaced beads and other stuff.. That's the result! Necklace + earrings in a very different style! I hope my mum'll like them.. But what about you?
